Martha Rempe has been a dance instructor with Dance Connection for the past four years. She has been studying the art of dance since she was 4 years old. Martha taught tap dance at Miss Minnie's School of Ballet in Roswell, NM for two years. While attending New Mexico State University, she also taught jazz for City Dance, a non-profit dance organization. Prior to graduating with a Bachelor of Community Health Education, she competed in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City as Miss New Mexico. Since moving to Farmington more than 10 years ago, she has earned a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of New Mexico, choreographed for the Miss New Mexico Pageant, youth productions at First Baptist Church of Bloomfield, and rehearsed local dancers for the Moscow Ballet's Nutcracker for two performance seasons. Martha continues to pursue her passion for dance by attending dance teacher conferences and workshops as often as possible. In addition to her instruction time at Dance Connection, she is also an elementary teacher with Farmington School and is married with two children, Victoria and Christopher.
